What's the difference between 1JF and 1DR....?

1JF = Japan Domestic Market
1DR = International Market (Especially for countries of East Asia, SEA, Africa & Southern America)
1CR = US & Canada Market
1ER = European Market

Neverthess, all of above are same. Just difference is the marketing region.

Taking a cursory glance at Casio G-Shock Perfect Search and personal collection - JDM G-Shocks ending with "JR" are limited editions/collaboration G-Shocks and "JF" are standard releases:

JR Perfect Search
MODEL SEARCH - ???? - G-SHOCK - CASIO

JF Perfect Search
MODEL SEARCH - ???? - G-SHOCK - CASIO

Markets outside of Japan seem to not make this differentiation.

Casio/G-Shock USA will usually drop the CR suffix when they reference a model for simplicity. For example, the new Nigel Sylvester 2 is marketed as GD101NS-1 and not GD101NS-1CR though the model label/UPC code on the packaging will have the complete model number with suffix.

JDM ( Japan Domestic Market ) watches are meant to be sold in the Japan domestic market. It does NOT indicate that the watch was "made in Japan" (although some models are)

In some cases the Japanese version of a watch has differences like the carbon band on the Rangeman. But in other models there is no difference at all.
